What is the 7% Opportunity?

The new normal of Real Estate is in a constant state of upheaval AND now we have the additional challenge of interest rates hitting 7+%. People are freaking out and uncertain. Buy, Sell, Hold??? This is where the 7% Opportunity comes in.

For every problem, there’s an opportunity and a solution!

For instance, if you’re a Buyer right now, there are some of the most incredible programs I’ve ever seen in 11 years of selling real estate that will help you get into a home. Many of them you don’t even need to be a first time Homeowner to qualify for.

I’m talking about programs that will give you a Grant at 3 ½ or 5% down payment on a home. Yes you read that correctly, it’s not a typo. I’m also seeing for the first time, the opportunity for many home buyers to get into homes with NO MONEY out of pocket!

Another perk, Sellers are having to be more reasonable in their negotiations than they have in recent years.

When everybody’s freaking out and running in one direction, this is where I’d invite you to get curious. During times like these, doing the opposite of what everyone else is doing is where the opportunity and true success lays.

If you’re Seller right now, you need to be very strategic. You cannot rely on ChatGPT or Claude to give you the truth and facts of your market or a good selling strategy (I’m seeing huge failures with this right now) AND you need current, up to date information to be grounded in today’s market.

The sellers that are losing big-time are the ones who are still thinking (hoping) we’re in the same market as a few years ago. We ARE NOT. That being said, homes are still selling. Because I know the truth of this, I am currently a “Seller” as I have chosen to sell one of my properties. People are still buying because as humans we are still living life which often involves real estate. Upsize, downsize, divorce, empty nest, the list goes on.
